I work with small business owners/entrepreneurs who want to build a business with real personality and remarkable clarity.
We might be a good fit if any of the following are true:
- You feel like your copy and marketing just doesn’t “sound like you” — and you want to change that.
- You want to create a website and online presence that actually gets people excited about your business.
- You want to build a profitable business, but you also want to build a business that is meaningful, fun to work in, and feels fulfilling.
- You know that solid copy is an important element for every business, but you don’t have the time or motivation to write it for yourself.
If you would like to learn more about working with me, and make sure we’re a good fit, you can get in touch with me here. Why types of copywriting projects do you work on?
My most popular services are:
- Website Do-Overs (complete edit of your website copy)
- Full Website Reviews
- SEO Content Landing Pages
Upon request, I also work with people to create information products like eBooks, white papers, special reports, and guides. Occasionally, I’ll take on blogging assignments and email marketing/auto responder projects. Get in touch here if you would like to talk about a custom project. Can you explain your process a bit?
I think working with a copywriter should be fun and rewarding. My clients often tell me that the process not only results in new copy for their business, but also new clarity and motivation. I’m thrilled about that.
Check out this post on the blog, which outlines the whole process in detail. What are your fees?
I think full disclosure is important when it comes to making investments in our businesses. That’s why I list all my fees right here.I need my project done yesterday. Can you start right away?
Sometimes, projects just need to get done right away, and I do my best to accommodate these situations.
That being said, good copywriting requires time, and when I take on a project, I’m committing to delivering the best results possible. I also make sure to only work with a small number of clients at any given time in order to make sure I can pay close attention to each project.
If my schedule allows, and I feel I can produce quality results in the requested time frame, I will take on rush projects. These projects are subject to a rush fee, and you will also need to be available for quick communication during the project.
The best solution is to get in touch with me as soon as your project comes up, so that there is plenty of time to get it done.Do you require a deposit to start my project?
All project fees are paid in full up front — this reserves your spot on my calendar, as I usually book projects weeks or months in advance. What’s included in your fees?
My project fees are all-inclusive: once your fee is paid you’re covered for all consultations/Skype calls, writing, revisions, and follow up necessary to complete the project to your complete satisfaction. What if I already have a website, but need it updated?
No problem! I provide copy editing services as well. What’s your guarantee/refund policy?
Once project fees are paid and your spot is reserved, payments are non-refundable. This is because, when you book your project with me, I block out time on my calendar for you and turn down other work that would interfere with your reserved dates.
However, I do offer a complete satisfaction guarantee. If, for any reason, you aren’t completely satisfied with your project, I’ll work with you until you are. This could include additional copy revisions, Skype/phone consultations, or email follow up support at no additional cost. I take you and your business seriously, and will make sure you are happy with our work together.Do you use contracts for your projects?
Yes, for all copywriting and copy editing projects I’ll provide you with an electronic contract. The contract will cover the basics such as: what, exactly, I’m going to write/edit for you, the fee I’m charging, when I will deliver your project, usage & rights, and privacy.
I use EchoSign to handle contract signatures. This makes the process simple and quick: you receive the contract via email, sign it electronically, and send it back. No printing, scanning, or faxing involved.Do I own the rights to the copy you write for me?
Once all copywriting fees have been paid in full, you own all rights, both now and in the future, whether electronic, print, or otherwise. You are free to use the copy in any manner you wish, at any time you wish, and you do not have to credit me as the author. How will we communicate during a project?
The best and quickest way to get in touch with me is by email. For this reason, we will primarily communicate through email during your project. Most projects also include an initial Skype consultation, and we may also stay talk via phone or Skype if the need arises later on in the project. Can you answer my website/blogging/insert-subject-here questions?
I love talking with entrepreneurs about web content and online marketing.
-If you have a general web content/online marketing question and just need some advice, you can submit your question to the blog. Most questions I get through this form result in a detailed blog post answer. If you provide your email address, I’ll even send you a notice when your answer goes live.
-If you are new to the online business world and would like answers to all the basic content marketing questions, you should sign up for Insider Emails. You can also check out the blog.
-If you would like to find out how content marketing can grow your business, and how to get started, send me an email.
-If you have questions related to a project you are considering, I’d be happy to go over it with you. You can get in touch here. Do you personally work on my project, or do you outsource it?
I do not outsource any of my client’s projects. You’ll always receive service and communication directly from me.
